Don't worry lads and lasses, I'm not really in the thick of it, about 400 kms from Catalonia in navarre.
now there's talk of political asylum for five of the independence leaders in Belguim. The very thought that it's classed as asylum shows you how bad it's getting; thirty years jail sentences being brandied about by those in Madrid against those who are truly peaceful. Gutting...

I was telling my lovely lady doctor earlier how my tennis elbow was really hurting.

She said "how many years have you had it for?"

I said "15, love"

Good to see you well and that your sense of humour is still good, even if your jokes aren't. :o

Not exactly a joke, but you've gotta smile to how things were back just a generation ago!

iPod, 1981, New York.

Yes Daibo, I remember walking around as a teenager with my Ghetto blaster. One pocket full of spare batteries and one pocket with a few cassettes in it. Was so thankful when Walkmans came out as it reduced the strain on my arm carrying the blaster, and the batteries were smaller.

To build up my confidence, I went to the local shopping centre and surveyed a hundred passing women around my age with the question "Do you find me attractive ?"

I produced the pie chart below from the answers :

conclusions?!

My wife's really obsessed with her new tropical juice diet.
It's enough to make a mango crazy...

Horse is in the pub having a few when spots a donkey in the corner so he nips over to have a natter, donkey asks "what did you do for a living"
horse says " I ran on the flat in the summer and over the jumps in the winter", Donkey says "I worked with the kids on blackpool beach", then he asks "did you win anything"
horse says "yeah on the flat I won the Oaks, St. Leger and the Derby and over the jumps I won the Grand National and the Gold Cup”,
They arrange to meet at the donkey's house a week later, donkey thinks, "I need to impress this guy he's done everything", so he buys a big picture of a zebra and hangs it above the fireplace.
The horse arrives and says "lovely place you have here and who's that in the picture on the wall", donkey replies "thats me when I played for Juventus”.

With all the other things in this world to think about, here are a few that perhaps hadn't crossed your mind:

Think about these:

Do twins ever realize that one of them is unplanned?

What if my dog only brings back my ball because he thinks I like throwing it

If poison passes its use by date, is it more poisonous or is it no longer poisonous?

Which letter is silent in the word "Scent," the S or the C?

Why is the letter W, in English, called double U Shouldn't it be called double V and why isn't "m" called "double n"

Maybe oxygen is slowly killing you and It just takes 75-100 years to fully work.

Every time you clean something, you just make something else dirty

The word "SWIMS" upside-down is still "SWIMS".

Intentionally losing a game of rock, paper, scissors is just as hard as trying to win.

100 years ago everyone owned a horse and only the rich had cars. Today everyone has cars and only the rich own horses.

Your future self is watching you right now through memories.

The doctors that told Stephen Hawking he had two years to live in 1953 are probably dead.

If you replace "W" with "T" in "What, Where and When", you get the answer to each of them.

Many animals probably need glasses, but nobody knows it.

If you rip a hole in a net, there are actually fewer holes in it than there were before.

If 2/22/22 falls on a Tuesday, we'll just call it "2's Day". ?
(It does fall on a Tuesday)

Madrid is stamping its feet on Catalunya, Catalan leaders impronisuined for rebellion, others fled to Belguim. But the problem is far from going away. Let's see what happens with the new autonomous government but not yet off the ground since the December elections!

Otherwise, it's a pretty depressing season for Reading FC, but then we're both in the stew at tge monent...
